Water in Cracked Gas Dryer Vessel Outlets

 
SpectraSensors’ TDLAS analyzers have proven highly effective for monitoring trace levels of H2O in cracked gas in the outlet of molecular sieve dryer vessels. TDLAS analyzers employ a non-contact, laser based measurement technique that detects changes in H2O concentration much more rapidly than quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) analyzers, providing a distinct advantage for this critical measurement. SpectraSensors’ patented differential spectroscopy technique enables detection and quantitation of sub-ppm levels of H2O in cracked gas providing the sensitivity necessary to detect H2O breakthrough and protect downstream cryogenic fractionation equipment from hydrate and ice formation.
