Using tunable diode laser (TDL) technology that has been proven in the harshest real-world environments, SpectraSensors’ solutions successfully measure and monitor gas and petrochemical concentrations in a variety of applications such as environmental, energy, water, and chemical process monitoring. Recent advancements in semiconductor lasers have made spectroscopy economically viable for a host of commercial applications. SpectraSensors uses highly scientific resources to deliver cost-effective, robust measurement tools to our customers.  

 

SpectraSensors’ products provide unprecedented reliability and speed and require virtually no maintenance. Products include moisture (H2O) sensors for atmospheric measurement, moisture and carbon dioxide (CO2) measurements in natural gas. Custom configurations are available for the measurement of other compounds such as CH4, C2H2, NH3, HCl, H2S, CO, NO and more.

Strong management team with proven experience and focus
SpectraSensors possesses a highly-skilled management team with decades of relevant industry experience, including deep expertise in lasers, optics, process efficiency, and applications and systems design for the gas and petrochemical industries. The team has a proven track record in using optical technologies, including laser absorption spectroscopy, a chemical sensing technique that emphasizes precision, fast response, and immunity to corrosive or contaminating elements in the sensing environment. More than half of SpectraSensors’ executive team holds degrees in science and technology, including eight renowned PhD scientists.
 
Since the company’s formation in 1999, SpectraSensors has focused on developing and selling commercial products adapted from the NASA/Caltech Jet Propulsion Laboratory and perfected via proprietary R&D efforts. Today, SpectraSensors remains 100% focused on the development of process analyzer solutions for the industrial process and environmental monitoring markets with a singular vision to help customers bring cleaner, better fuels to market faster.
